Problem Most public libraries still rely on partially separate systems for managing resources, facilities and academic publications. Students often face difficulties when trying to check book availability, reserve study rooms, or access and publish journals. Although the library uses a digital system for staff operations, it lacks direct interactivity for students. The major issue is the book borrowing, renewing rental period and room booking process . Only library staff can access the system. Users can’t check the availability of the books and rooms on their own. When users wish to borrow books or reserve the room, they must go to the library for enquiry. In addition, academic journal access and publication are managed through a separate platform. This separation forces students and researchers to switch between systems to access or submit journals, making the experience fragmented and time consuming.
